Special Programs

Summer program

The Yeshiva is getting ready for an exciting summer. The program will run through the months of June and July. New students and alumni are welcome to join us for all or part of that time. This year for the first time ever we will be joining forces with the Jewish Learning Initiative on Campuses to ensure a stimulating summer program. We look forward to welcoming new students from England, Canada, North America and around the world.   Learning will take place in the traditional Torat Yosef-Hamivtar style with mornings devoted to Gemara and a variety of shiurim in the afternoons. As always, there will also be opportunities to see the country with special summer Tiyulim for all participants.   If you haven't yet reserved your place by sending in your application form – please do so as soon as possible.

Elul Zman and the New Year

Elul Zman marks the beginning of the new year in yeshiva. It is always a special time with intense learning and the powerful atmosphere of the forthcoming Yamim Noraim.   It's always lovely to welcome back alumni who return to yeshiva for Elul as well as greeting our new students who are beginning their time in Yeshiva.   Please send in your application forms. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Rabbi Gideon Sylvester ravsylvester@ots.org.il   or Mrs Chana Stein our administrator office@yhty.org

Winter Zman

The Yeshiva is now in the midst of Winter Zman (term) which lasts until Pesach. We are learning Gemara Shabbat and there are a whole range of other Shiurim going on in the Yeshiva which you can see on this website under the heading of Daily Schedule.

Highlights of the Zman so far include the opening of our new Residences which took place at the beginning of October and the first tiyul of the year which just took place. Further tiyulim are scheduled to take place each month through the winter. We also look forward to the induction of the new Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Zeff which is scheduled to take place over Channukah.

Prospective students who would like to come along for part of the Winter Zman are welcome to fill in an application form or to contact us for further details. We will be very happy to answer your questions and look forward to welcoming you to our campus!
